Lessons at the Paris Conservatory
Professor? Teacher? Initiator? … or all three at once? A philosophy of life.
I am a tenured professor at the conservatory of music Erik Satie (7th quarter) in Paris. I teach cello and chamber music to students ranging from 8 to 25 years of age.
I am also in charge of the string orchestra (3rd to 5th year).
In this context, I organize two concerts each year for my students to perform in public. These events are mainly designed to allow students to measure their progress but also and equally to allow them to channel their emotions and control their fear of public performance from an early age.
